Student Code of Conduct & Digital Acceptable Use Policy PreambleNativa Alliance Community High School is committed to maintaining a secure, ethically sound, and disruption-free digital learning ecosystem. Enrollment constitutes a formal agreement by the student (and their legal guardian, if applicable) to adhere strictly to the behavioral and academic standards outlined below. Failure to comply will result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including permanent administrative expulsion. Academic Integrity & Prohibited ConductPlagiarism and Academic Dishonesty: Submitting work that is not entirely the student's own is strictly prohibited. This includes copying text from external websites, purchasing assignments, or plagiarizing peers.Unauthorized AI Usage: The use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools to write essays, solve assessments, or generate coursework answers without explicit, written instructor permission is classified as academic fraud and is subject to an immediate failing grade.Identity Misrepresentation & Portal Security: Student login credentials (LMS usernames and passwords) are strictly confidential. Allowing any third party to log in, complete coursework, or take assessments on behalf of an enrolled student constitutes fraud.Cyberbullying, Defamation, and Harassment: Nativa Alliance enforces a zero-tolerance policy for hostile digital behavior. This includes, but is not limited to, hate speech, threats, cyberbullying, sexual harassment, or defamatory remarks directed at faculty, staff, or fellow students across school forums, email correspondence, or affiliated social media channels. Progressive Disciplinary FrameworkThe administration reserves the right to bypass progressive steps and enforce immediate expulsion depending on the severity of the infraction.Level 1 (Official Warning): Documented administrative warning issued to the student portfolio; mandatory virtual conference with the student and legal guardian; zero credit assigned to the compromised coursework.Level 2 (Academic Suspension): Temporary suspension of portal access for 5 to 10 academic days; zero credit awarded for all missed assignments during the suspension window; formal probation status applied to the student's permanent file.Level 3 (Administrative Expulsion): Permanent termination of enrollment and immediate revocation of portal access. The student will be permanently dismissed from Nativa Alliance.2. Comprehensive Financial & Iron-Clad Refund Policy Contractual Financial ObligationBy completing the registration process and securing a placement at Nativa Alliance, the primary account holder assumes full financial responsibility for the complete tuition amount associated with the selected academic track. Strict Non-Refundable PolicyAll Fees Are Final: All registration fees, administrative application fees, technology fees, and tuition payments are 100% non-refundable. Once enrollment is finalized and student portal access credentials have been provisioned, no financial refunds will be issued under any circumstances.Voluntary Withdrawal Obligation: If a student or adult scholar chooses to voluntarily withdraw or cease participation in their coursework prior to the end of the academic term, the account holder remains legally and financially obligated to fulfill any remaining balances, installment plans, or outstanding fees owed to the school or our third-party processing partners (e.g., Afterpay).Disciplinary Dismissal: In the event that a student is suspended or permanently expelled from the academy due to a violation of the Student Code of Conduct, all tuition paid is entirely forfeited, and any outstanding financial balances remain due immediately.3. State Compliance, Attendance, & Scholarship Standards Florida Step Up For Students Funding ComplianceMandatory Completion Deadlines: K–12 students utilizing state funding via the Step Up For Students network (including PEP, FTC, and FES pathways) are bound by rigid state fiscal and academic calendars. All grade-level coursework must be fully completed and submitted before the designated close of the Spring term in late May.Funding Forfeiture: Failure to complete required curriculum requirements within the state-mandated timeframe may result in the immediate suspension of scholarship disbursements, loss of renewal eligibility, or personal out-of-pocket financial liability for the household to cover the remaining balance of the school year. Attendance Verification & Progress TrackingIn accordance with Florida educational statutes, Nativa Alliance systematically tracks student login metrics, IP addresses, time-on-task data, and weekly assignment completion rates. Students are required to demonstrate consistent, active academic progress each week. Prolonged, unexcused inactivity constitutes truancy and will trigger an automated administrative withdrawal from the program.
